Olympic Pharmacology
An Olympian from Abilene
Caught a javelin straight through her spleen...
Now the pain that was terrible
Soon was made bearable
Thanks to gallons of potent morphine.
Four years later, now free of her pains,
Drug tests disqualified her again
When a sample of blood
Showed just morphine and mud
Were coursing about in her veins.
So.. the lesson we learn, don't you see,
(The moral through all history)
Is that those most dejected
May still be subjected
To double-unfair jeopardy.
